Unfortunately, the fans are also to blame for the high wages, as they are the ones paying the high prices to watch the games, a season ticket to watch a premier league football team is well over £1500, some are double that. But that is the price of success these days.
Oops, my bad, most expensive season ticket for a UK football club is £950 or $1235.00 but only the home games, so that's 19 games.

George- I'm sure the church has a special meaning for you. Now I understand about the radiation detector. I couldn't figure out why you would get it.
PRR That church has about 2,000 stones that my wife separately painted.
The Pawling NY accident at the United Nuclear site was contracted by the government because it could be adequately guarded for secret experiments.” Following the 1972 incident, licensed activities at the complex were terminated and a $3 million effort to clean plutonium from the area was staged, with truckloads of contaminated soil hauled away. In 1975, the decommissioned site was officially cleared by the federal government for unrestricted use. Over safety concerns among local residents prompted Oak Ridge Associated Universities to conduct another study in the mid-1980s. Completed in 1986, the report indicated that “unusual objects” were found to be in the lake. I'm thinking parts of the building ended up in the lake. Do I trust the government and go fishing in the lake? No way. When I worked at Indian Point Nuclear plant for a few weeks we were told that the person who replaced the fueling rods received $35,000.00 an hour. The whole operation was done underwater.

Afternoon All,

Spent the morning doing a project in the wife's sewing room. Of course, that entailed a trip to Lowes. After lunch I put together a pole light that was needed in the background of the engine servicing area. I'm getting pretty darn quick at putting them together. Not sure what's on the agenda for tomorrow.

Thank you for the photo likes yesterday.

George- I'm sure the church has a special meaning for you. Now I understand about the radiation detector. I couldn't figure out why you would get it.

Guy- Thank you. I really enjoy your wildlife photos. Our town has grown up so much all we ever get are raccoons, opossums, squirrels, and a occasional rabbit.

Joe- We thought our grandson had done that to us, but it turned out to be allergies :). I hope you feel better soon. Nice progress on the layout. You don't drill through the cork roadbed to place your feeders?

TomO- I didn't realize that you were talking about a horse rescue. I thought they were yours. Are they rehabbed so they can go to a permanent home?

Steve- I hope you heal quickly. This would be a good time to build structures.

Willie- Great looking detail work.

Dave- Great photos.

I hope everyone has a good night.
Curt, Terry just purchased another 6 horses for her herd. 3 mommas and their babies from stables in Texas and Oklahoma. They join the stable that contains 3 others Terry has had for years here in Wisconsin. She has 2 more on Maui. Our son has 2 in Texas and the daughter has 3 here in Wisconsin. They love their horses, I do not!

The rescues come in, hopefully get rehabbed and returned to the county that they came from. Usually 3-4 months of work. She rarely loses a horse in the rescue program. The 5 she lost in the previous group, the Ashland County Wisconsin vet said they should have been put down at discovery. 4 of the horses were put down in a 2 week period after they got here, the 5th horse was dead in the trailer hauling them down from Northern Wisconsin. Her Crew is still somewhat in shock and denial. In 9 years she has only lost a total of 7 horses. Her Crews’ rescue efforts are well known in Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota and Illinois.

The last 8 horses received as rescues including the lost 5 all had owners that passed away. The horses were neglected only because the owners passed away unknown to anyone. The 3 that arrived this week were found because the Feed store knew something was wrong as the owner always came in every Wednesday. When she missed 2 Wednesdays they asked the police to do a well fare check and found her dead in the barn.

Generally those counties will sell the rescues and very rarely I am told are they returned to the original owners. Terry and her Crew can normally handle up to 10 rescue horses.

I would need to check but there are at least another 30 horses in the stables that pay rent to be stabled. Many of the spoiled ladies in the area want horses but do not want the work that goes along with them. So they pay for it. The stables have stalls for 60 animals.

Back in 2015, I was recovering from a stroke and would get myself down to the stables. There as I got stronger I started cleaning stalls and grooming and walking the horses. A county from Illinois called and talked to Terry’s stable manager at the time. 3 horses, 2 imus and 6 llamas showed up a few days later. The llamas and Imus became my concern. As their health improved so did mine. Most enjoyable recovery of the many I have endured. It was only the 2nd time in my life I got attached to any animal let alone 8 weird ones! It hurt when they returned 6 months later to Illinois sold to new owners.

I do ride and have since a kid in Chicago and then it suburbs. BUT, I don’t like or really even enjoy the horses. I tolerate them and the horse I ride thankfully is a docile monster who tolerates me. I would much rather drive an ATV. Terry never rode until the daughter started riding in 6th grade as a member of 4H. So that would be about 1994. She has been catching up ever since. The day she retired in 2006, a small 2 stall “stable“ was completed. The next day she purchased 2 horses, 1 for her and 1 for visitors. Since then, my model trains and other hobbies purchases have never been questioned, frowned at yes, but never a word!

Good evening Shop Dwellers! Thanks everybody for the 'likes' on all my recent non-illustrated posts, including the one I made last night.

Only got about 3 hours' sleep last night; got up briefly at 2:40am for the usual reason, then when I laid back down I started fretting about certain things (don't want to go into the details) and I just couldn't get back to sleep. This frequently happens on Sundays or any other night before I return to work after having a string of days off - in this case, I was off on Good Friday and the Monday after Easter Weekend.

I had enough little things to keep me busy while I was remoted-in, so that took some of the edge off being sleep-deprived. After work I went out to the trainroom and continued making my incremental preparations for the open house. Had a brief scare when my turntable seemed to keep on spinning instead of stopping at the selected track, because this is usually a sign that the control module has died. But eventually it did stop - first at a track I hadn't selected [and not properly aligned], but soon it was performing like normal again. Side note: I've already decided to order another one of those 12vdc reduction gear-equipped motors like the ones I used to mechanize the rotary dumper - its extreme slow-speed rotation capability makes it perfect for manually operating and positioning the turntable after the Walthers control module fails!

Gary - I tried visiting a few different sites that matched that CTV search text you posted, but none of the many video links on their home page looked like the one in your screenshot. Is there any way you can provide a few additional details, or show us what thumbnail image we should click on when we get there?

Good Night - and have a Pleasant Tomorrow!

My cousin was a big time racehorse jockey. One of the first horses he rode bowed a tendon and would no longer be able to race. My uncle had a lot of land and took the horse. The horse was a lot of work. Anyone who takes in these horses are exceptionally good people.

Yeah, I've done hundreds of wedding videos as well. The money people will pay for them is amazing. Not a blink of the eye, they sign up for a video costing $3,000.
A friend paid a pretty penny for photographs in the day, then the photographer got bogged down in a divorce and upped and skipped town with her money and she never got the photos, had to rely on family pictures, totally ruined it for her, thankfully after the day not on it.

a school friends mum sent all the photos she could scrounge of her daughter for a special album and the company went bust, I do not think she had paid yet,but the -holographs were never returned, few of the photos had duplicates, she was contacting old friends for photos we had of her to try and replace sone of those lost memories.

I have taken computer photos of all my normal papers photos and stored in a couple of places, luckily I used to buy a set and a copy for years, but the thought of losing all those captured pictures makes me cringe, what if there was a house fire, or a n other disaster!

Those memories are indispensable

Lol an acquaintance in another of our hobbies had a wife who does horses, he says he stays off her back and she stays off his, neither one puts them in debt.
I and my other half share most hobbies, he invests in kitchen kit cos he likes to eat the results, so luckily we rarely have any issues, the fact I have not worked for 20 years because when we moved here it would have meant a massive pay drop after working in London although he retained his pay level and increased it although much slower than in a city and jumping jobs, luckily he was doing well in London when we decided to move so living in a much cheaper area with rates that work for a city leave us in a nice position. He teases me sometimes, but he was the one who said your pay here will be so reduced just look after the house and the kids. I paint and varnish, tile, cut grass, grow veg look after animals which are not money makers, when you factor we do not sell eggs, and the 50 odd birds we have and with the bird flu meaning birds are inside for extended winters I suspect we have some of the most expensive (can’t say free range atm) eggs in the country, plus.

Is there any way you can provide a few additional details,
Good morning Ken,
There website links don’t show well on my IPad for sure. Try this link, then there is an April’s Maritimers of The Month story half way down the page.

Seems that the photographer is the most troublesome for the videographer at weddings. I would say at least a third of the weddings that I have shot, the photographer seemed to be intentionally trying to interfere with my work. Walking in front of my camera, stopping in front of my camera, messing with my equipment and just outright being a jerk. I've had to remind them that we are both working for the same boss, and we are not in competition with each other.

Ah..much better! 👍

Not only that, but I actually knew Furgus Francey back in the 2000's when I used to hang out in the MR (Kalmbach) Coffee Shop! I was under a different account 'handle' back then so he probably wouldn't remember me if you asked him about it...

Good morning all! 45 and raining on the way to 62 with more rain possible. Need all the coffee Flo can bring me this morning as I once again stayed up too late. Why do I do that to myself???

Nothing much going on at home right now, just the usual. I have some large projects at work I have to be getting started on right away, some more right away than others.

Paid a visit to my dermatology nurse practitioner yesterday for a follow up visit. She froze a few suspicious spots on my head, but otherwise gave me a clean bill and said I could wait a year to come back.

That's all I've got for now. Hope you all have a great day!

Those Aluminum rims? If so get steel. Had those on the Edge and the tire pressure thingie would come on all of the time forcing me to check the pressure. Yup, that one is low so fill it. After I got steel rims I have not had an issue.
