Chickens got me up again this day. It looks as if the temps are declining a bit - probably from all that snow that GUY received; looking for 6 inches - got 12: I can't even get to six anymore?😁

We are looking for a 76F high today, down from 87F yesterday. Over the next several days we are expecting lower temps - after all, it is that time of year.

JESSIE: Move over and save me a seat. I'm going to join you in that corner with my own plate of bacon this morning. After I turn in the recycles' I should have enough $ to buy a pound ... just maybe!
I had new tires put on the CRV yesterday and an alignment done at the same time - what a difference in both the ride and the ability to maintain "hands off the wheel" for quite a distance. I did ask the Spousal Unit to try and NOT hit the curbs when parking - could be a waste of breath? Counting the RV, that equals $2k worth of tires in , what, 3 months? I think I am due for a locomotive or two - what say you?

WILLIE:: Thanks for the tip on the bold - but, can I remember that?

I see that FLO has my plate of bacon ready -- BBL

Karl -

What gnu? That's The Count from Sesame Street.

Actually, I fat fingered that, the character's name is Gru, Felonious Gru, from Despicable Me......

The other day, I was working on some wiring, and needed a lighter to melt some heat-shrink tubing. The only person around was the customer, who was in the process of paying his bill. He reached into his pocket, and pulled out the exact amount to pay the bill. I asked if he had a light, and he pulled out what had to be the longest cigarette lighter I’ve ever seen. I made use of the lighter, handed it back to him, and commented on how healthy he looked.
He said, “A few years ago, I found one of those lamps with a genie in it, with the standard three wishes. I asked to have good health, and no matter how much money I needed, that amount would always be in my pocket.”
I told him I thought those were smart choices, and asked what his third wish was. He showed me the gigantic lighter. I asked why he wanted that, and he said the genie was hard of hearing.
“You don’t really think I asked for a 12” Bic, do you?”

Agreed....but really it's not "stupidity" it's evil doers of that nature......
Guns kill, that's a fact. But human stupidity kills a lot more.
So do knives, so do vars and lorries And planes, one unfortunately cannot remove many of those people who kill until they have killed, and someone innocent dies, drinking and driving has also killed far too many people, so I cannot disagree on the stupid comment

D&J having tripped over a broom for too often for words I think the sneaky little bxxxxxds should be banned.
do not know why you removed the comment I thought it classic.
I'm always amused by the "dangerous gun" comments. I've been around thousands of guns most of my life and I have never, ever seen one suddenly shoot someone by itself. Now I have seen quite a few people, including LEOs who handle guns without thinking about where it's pointed.
Also, the number of murders by gun don't differentiate between assaults on other people and suicides. The suicides far outnumber the rest.
