"Train" season is about over for me. Great weather means it's "outdoor" season. All the seed planted 3 weeks ago has sprouted and grown enough that I started thinning some of it out. I've never had a season start this early. My asparagus is producing more than enough for us to harvest twice a week now.
I forgot to mention some of the firearm stuff. We shipped an as-new 1960 Marlin 39A a little over a week ago to the winning bidder. Usually Pieces Scattered must have thrown it down on the butt stock end, from 20' up, because they split the stock at the tang.
The butt stock was wrapped in cardboard, bubble wrap, and then placed in a soft case before being boxed & padded. The buyer (us too) was really upset with UPS, but we are taking it back for a full refund. I know how to repair the stock having done it many times before. Spread the crack, Gorilla glue, wrap with some tire inner tube, then tighten it up with a hose clamp. $800 rifle with go on the store rack for $500 after the fix.
On a brighter note, the 3 current listings are all doing outstanding and there's still 10 days to go.
