So where will the pieces go into the cab?
So where will the pieces go into the cab?
Think about when you drill a hole in a piece of wood. The drill bit cuts the wood into small particles (saw dust) as it makes a hole in the wood.
The same thing happens when you drill into plastic. The drill bit cuts the plastic into small pieces to make a hole. Most of the plastic particles will fall outside the cab. If the drill bit pushes all the way through the plastic to the inside of the shell, then some plastic bits will end up in the cab.
My recommendation is to remove the shell from the locomotive before you attempt any drilling. You don't want any plastic bits falling into the motor or gears.
