Just wondering if anyone here primes before applying Polly Scale to plastic? I have noticed that there is no listing for either Polly Scale or Floquil specific primer in the Walthers Catalog.

I ask because I have noticed that in some cases if the part flexes at all the paint can chip off. Is it recommended to over spray all Acrylic based airbrushed weathering with something like Dullcote? I didn't think that you needed to seal Acrylics because unlike powdered weathering it should not rub off from handling for the most part.

Thanks Jim, I should have checked the site. These are true primers that help with adhesion of paint to the surface and not just the colour of primer right?

Correct, although no primer or paint really sticks well to those slippery celcon handrains. For a body shell, they should do fine.

Priming for PS

I've used a straight Badger Air Opaque white as undercoat for PS SP Daylight orange, and it works great (the paint is probably 24 years old, and I'm happy I've finally found a use for it...) PS on plastic worked okay without it, but I needed it for some color uniformity from car to car.
