[EDIT] I forgot that I also replaced all of the axles/gear sets at the same time as installing the decoders.

Well here’s something different. It’s the near total absence of wire that used to be there, under the layout. I’ve finished rewiring for DCC. For now, that single “block” is being powered by my DC cab controller. Getting a command station is budgeted for the fall.

The box contains the wiring, tethered throttles and control panels that were removed.
