You need to upload the picture to a Free photo hosting site, like Photobucket, Flickr, etc. I use Photobucket, so here's what I do. After the photo has been uploaded to the website, you can put a title on it, along with a description etc. To get the photo onto the forums, this is what I do. First I choose the photo by clicking on it. When the photo comes up, to the right of the photo there will be 4 boxes labelled share links. Click on the bottom one, labelled IMG, and it should blink "copied", then you return to the forums, clicking on the attachment link, which will look like a ball, globe with a chainlink in it. (Just to the right of this, there is an Icon that looks like a framed picture. The link is add image. I've never had any luck with this, so you can try it, but like I said, I've had poor luck with it.) This will bring up a screen where the cursor is blinking in a box labelled URL. Right click here and choose paste. On the left side of the screen there will be 2 other boxes. One is labelled link type, and here URL is default so don't change it. Below is a box labelled protocol, and here it will have
http://. Click on the down arrow next to
http://, and in the choices that come up, choose other. Then click OK, and the picture will be added to your post, like this;
The picture should appear. Now if I have made a mistake in explaining the process, I'm sure that someone will correct me. This is the method that I have used for ages. I'm sure that there are others that have slightly different methods for adding photos, but the main thing is to set up an account with a Free photo hosting site, and go from there.
Thanks for reading. I hope that I haven't confused you.
BTW, the picture was one that I took at the Streamliner Reunion, held at Spencer, NC. last summer.
