THANKS, Yannis; here are some pics of my weekend progress, a burned over area; I decided to re-work a plain looking area to be an area that was burned over about 15 or 20 years ago and new vegetation (aspen, grass) is coming in and the old dead trees still standing:
This is what it looked like when I started, just sheet rock compound over screen:

This is what I used for the small aspen trees, they are called "branches", I painted the stems white and added some black dots; they are supposed to look like young aspen trees:

Here is how it looked like when I finished. I made a little fire in my yard and burned some spruce twigs. I cut the bottom of the twigs with a jugsaw to match the hillside and inserted a small toothpick in a hole and inserted it in a matching hole in the hillside;
I also put some smaller broken pieces around to look like left over fallen debris; I added some "burnt grass" ground cover to the stems of a couple of the trees to look like moss, also put some on the debris because this area was to have burned over 15 or 20 years ago:

(notice the powerlines showing up above)
Here is the view that goes with the "before" photo:

THANKS for looking, lasm
