Kellan, the rear cars will tend to derail more becuase they have to absorb all the stress of coupler slack and all the cars ahead of them wanting to go straight instead of following a curve. Having all your cars properly weighted, with the wheels all in gauge, and couplers at the correct height, will banish all non-track related derailments.

I was hoping this was the case. All I need now is a scale and to find the specs for different cars.

Thanks for the help, now I wont get as furstrated when it happens. :p

So I found this shed in my boxes of stuff today. It needs a lot of work, but I am hoping to turn it into something nice.....

After a bit of filing and sanding with a coat of putty on the bad seams.....

Ya its gonna go in the engine yard if it turns out nice. I plan on going with Red oxide for the side and steel for the roof and doors. The vents and other detials will be painted too. The brick at the bottom will be getting a coating of concrete paint.

The big doors might get removed cause of the ridiculous hinges. lol

Id do the same thing except keep the roof details silver, id also remove the doors or try and figure out something less noticeable with the hinges.

or a blue on the sides would look nice with the grey on the bricks to though

All my other buildings are red in the yard. So I'm thinking that the red would just look better. I might make a hinge for the doors.....

Good thought keeping them uniform.

How about making doors the are open out rather than ones that open up? Seems they would be alot easier to make than hingers and then fit the hinges to the door.

Well got most of the painting done. I still need to detail the details, add the doors, and weather.

Kellan, that's quite a transformation on a pretty junky looking structure. Good Job. However, by my count, I think you've reached the Federally mandated limit on engine facilities of all types. :)

lol. Ya theres a bunch on there right now. The smaller ones on the bottom wont be there, and I don't think I am going to keep the new shed there. Its just not nice enough. It still has some rough spots.

My new desiel house came in today, so I have to get building that.
