HP and Sackville Railroad

ModelRailroadForums.com is a free Model Railroad Discussion Forum and photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. Online since 2002, it's one of the oldest and largest model railroad forums on the web. Whether you're a master model railroader or just getting started, you'll find something of interest here.

Something like this (or several photos taken from different locations will do the trick).

Lo

Looks like it's going to be a nice sized layout, you worked out where all the structures are going yet.
Before I forget, how's the station coming along?
Haven’t touched the station in a bit, moved it out to the garage while Christmas is in the house.
1. Finish track
2. Get some engines upgraded
3. Finish station
4. get the rudder and RC installed into the boat so resin and paint can be finished

That's really looking good Gary, are you using code 83 track ? I must have missed the post with the ship, looks great.
No, it’s Code 100, trying to keep it as simple as I can for old pie cutter wheels…..etc…..the crossovers aren’t connected as it will be one DC track and one DCC for now. The ship needs rudder and motor installed still, but that will be closer to the spring.

Thinking about it, why not connect the two tracks now and use insulation joiners, that way if you decide to go full DCC later you wont need to move/connect any track.
