Just a smidgeon off topic for a quick second - @Rico , @KriegslokBR52 or anyone else if it comes down to it - what details exactly is my engine missing and can they be bought to replace what is missing?

Okay - back to you guys ........... 👍
Just from a quick glance there are missing handrails, which suppose to go all along the side of the boiler and get mounted in the horizontal row of holes about 1/3 way down from the top of the boiler. The handrails usually turn down vertically at the front of the smoke box side-another hole near the bottom. Up front on the smokebox face are missing identification lights on the sides and the bell in top holes. After a double take i notised missing safety walves right behind steam dome-should be two holes on top of the boiler (some very large steamers had 3). On the side of steam dome itself you can see another hole where the steam whistle should be mounted. Going near the bottom of the boiler right above the walkway you can see another set of holes what i'm assuming should be water delivery pipe from the injector under the cab. It looks like there is a small reindition of the injector under the cab, but it's hard to tell from the picture. Looking around the running gear i notised that the compound compressor is tilted inward toward the wheels, as is also the tank in front of it, this compressor should be mounted vertically, otherwise it might get hit with side rod if you try to run the locomotive. Not sure what gauge is the model, but if it's H0 you gan get all these parts as detail additions. Handrails and pipes can just be molded from either brass or copper wires. Some better shops (nothing like those operated by knowledgeable older gentlemen😃) have details like that in stock.

Back in the day, I was out fanning in my lowered '69 Volkswagen panel van and BN GP39E and three cars (and a caboose) came by headed west with the 205 local.

The second car out was an ex Valdosta Southern boxcar. The VSO closed in the early 1990s and some cars went to MDR, a Kansas City Southern subsidiary. Others went to HS, CAGY and SRN. It was fun to see since they don't get out this way that often. I noticed the digits in the car number added up to 21. I looked at the other two cars in the local and they were BN 732324 and BN 435810, two more 21s. Three winning blackjacks in one train, what are the chances?! If we weren't having a snow day, I'd go buy a lotto ticket.
