Anyone else notice the pretty significant CUTS in price on the newest releases?

Thats a pretty gutsy move on Exactrails part. Especially when competitors like BLMA, Tangent and Intermountain have plenty of products that fit right in quality wise. You can pretty much kiss Exactrails ARMN refers goodbye then. No one is going to want to pay retail + shipping for the Exactrail product when the BLMA ones fit in nicely without paying a higher cost.

Well, here is the thing. If Exactrail makes a model that no one else makes, and you need it, they got you by the short and curlies and of course your going to order it. So it isn't a matterof BLMA vs Tangent etc, it's who has the model you need.

Exactrail makes models I need because they make freight cars from the 70's, which is IMO, a somewhat neglected era. The Gunderson 5200 dd box cars, the Vert-a-pacs, the 3-bay covered hoppers, and the PC&F beer box cars are all right up my alley and were all D&RGW bridge freight traffic.

Yeah, the list on the web shows the price dropped about $10 from the original retail?
Also, I see that Exactrail will maintain a Dealer network in Europe - but not Canada. Foreign customers will still have to be paying Duties though.
