Gentlemen, please you are discussing another human being. Size of one's body may not be of personal choice but a defect prone to human bodies. It takes all kinds to make a world so please have respect for each other as human beings. It has been said that respect has to be earned, that is not true, what is true is respect in all or any case should be given freely. It is then up to that person to either retain or lose the respect.
Always ask yourselves if you would want uncomplimentary statements said about yourself or yours .
Just a thought
Cheers

WOWSA!

anybody had a chance to look at these links?

Good day all. Busy morning here at the office. Looks like a few more lay-offs. It's starting to get old.

No rain. Just the look of rain so far. We're suppose to be sunny tomorrow before the next squall comes in on Wednesday.

Spent the weekend changing a blue and yellow Santa Fe GP9 to the black and white scheme of Chicago & Eastern Illinois Railroad (circa 1950). This is the first time I've ever converted anything and my first time using an airbrush. There seems to be an initial tendency to not trust it leaving a thicker then necessary coat of paint. I'm neither excited about the results nor displeased with it. Some flaws may "disappear" with weathering. It will still require some touch-up, some Dulcoat and I have to locate the C&EI decals. Also need some orange paint for the hand rails.

I knew of three of them cause over the years they were in or have been mentioned of in Model railroader. Gary Colman is the one I would have least expected with his brushs with the law! JMO... Pretty much famous people are like you and me at times....I would assume all hobbies big and small has someone famous taking part in it!

AHH painting handrails can really be a pain in the $%#@. I remember finding a cure that would make paint stick to handrails but for the life of me I can't member it darn CRS is at it again.

I used this trick on Polycarb bodies on my RC cars should work on those pesky handrails. Lighty sand the hand rails and paint them with RC car paint! It shouldn't come off!

Will, my butt is good sized too, and I've been on the other end of "my GOD, is his butt REALLY that big?" and I've learned the only way to deal with such things is to remember:

I CAN LOSE WEIGHT, YOU'RE STUCK WITH UGLY! :D

(No obese people were harmed in the telling of these jokes.)

LONGEST DAY OF MY FREAKIN' LIFE!!!!

Woke up this morning to the the wife with stabbing sharp stomach pains! By sunup we're in the emergency room at the hospital where the wife had her gastric bypass surgery 5 weeks ago. By noon she's headed to emergency surgery. Seems a part of the stomach muscle wall had ruptured and a section of her intestine had pushed through. It was now cut off from blood flow and was in trouble.

Surgery lasted about 30 minutes and all is good now. She's doing a lot better now. They did it as an out-patient deal, so she's home now......12 hours after this all started. They said she could still go on her trip too!

Man, what they can do these days is amazing!

My wife said that Sux! I agree, Bypass some times has troubles:rolleyes: well you guys are still in our thoughts and prayers......I know you got your hands full, We were in the same place as you pal!:o I would hold up on that trip until she's 3 more weeks out! Trust me, we went on vacation soon after my wife operation. We wish we postponed it until she was 2 months out!

... Now find a malpractice attorney.

Why? The surgeons could have done absolutely nothing wrong. Complications can and do occur without any kind of an outside "force" causing them.

That's why surgeon's tell patients of the possible complications that can occur. The most common of them being hemorrhage, infection, and tissue rupture or tearing.

Yeah, this wasn't anyones fault........it was just one of those things. They fixed her up good and quick, so we're good.

Phillip, Thank goodness it all worked out for the wife today, we'll keep her in our prayers,.
Chris, you owe me.......Diet Coke through the nose stings, not to mention what it does to the kkkkkkeyboard!

Whats up every one. been a while that I've stopped by.

Spend roughly 25+ hours this weekend building an 84 toyota pick up. The truck was rolled in 85 and hasn't been driven or on the road. Friday involved stipping the old cab and removing it from the frame. Sat was installing new rear leaf springs, welded new mounts to the frame. re did rear brake lines. sunday was installing front springs and new mounts. hopefully next weekend we'll get the cab back on and take her for a spin again.

Well another hot day! this will be the Third day in a row with temps over 70*! We got our Spring weather slowly sneaking back in, We should get one or two more frost before April and that should do it! They open the water parks middle of next month and people should start to slowly migrating back to the beaches.....Can't believe spring is around the corner again. The weather guessers are planing a Hot/Dry summer with better chances of the Hurricans actually hitting the state!........................ O'well life goes on!

Karl, I'll get ya a beer at BG, you just have to show up to collect it!:D;)

Phillip, I'm Glad they fixed the problem. My wife said the same thing' "it happens" Janette was lucky not to have problems. But the doctor warned us and told her to take it easy for 3 months.... The hardest thing was to find out what she can or can't eat!

Jimbo, must of fell off the wagon again;) Jim, A Nyquil Coma will fix ya up fast!
