Good Morning, and Happy Friday!
It's currently 32° F in Central New Jersey, the forecast is mostly cloudy, with a high of 49°.
Expecting a package from MB Klein this afternoon, Some Atlas C-83 flex, a PECO #7 curved switch, and the re-issued Walthers Vulcan Mfg. building. The building will go with my original Vulcan building at my version of an early twentieth century steel mill, while the switch and track will correct some issues on the addition I added last fall, by extending the runaround.

Watched one of those super shark movies today. Very big bogus moment. A warship captioned on the screen as a destroyer was very obviously an Iowa Class battleship. Time for me to call it a night. See y'all tomorrow.

Good Morning! Happy St. Patty's Weekend!
Another "overcast" Jersey morning, the temperature is 37°, going up to 40°.
The "weather prophets" predict rain or snow for this afternoon.
I was considering driving to Edison, for the "Greenberg" show, but......
This is mostly a "Hi-rail" show, with dolls, "collectable" toys and Russian artifacts, only a couple of serious vendors, with stuff I'm interested in.
My package arrived yesterday, as anticipated. The Peco #7 curved switch doesn't look like it will work out for what i want. Maybe the Walthers #6½ will work better. For now, back to the drawing board.
Have a great weekend.

Good morning. It's 55° with 100% humidity. The high will be 78°.
Today I intend to get some cleaning up down on the layout. Some freight cars that have been converted to Kadee's must be put away so they're not taking up space on the layout. There's also some things that have to be prepped for sending out.
Good Morning
"Into each day a bit of snow must fall"...or so it seems around here...yep...another dull snowdribbly day for us'uns here..high....30F...
Got my order picked up yesterday...a couple of warehouse kits and some covered hoppers ....like I need more of them...
Since I also went and picked up more groceries today and tomorrow will be my trainroom days....hope...hope....hope...
Have a good'un!!!
Hanging out at tthe pool. Its 78* &sunny
I worked on the FP7 some more and found why it was buzzing like the barbers clippers. There's a plastic piece that fits on top of the chassis. It covers the motor, flywheel and shafts and is also handy for laying the wires and decoder on. The front drive shaft U-joint was just touching this piece and that was causing the buzzing sound. I cut a small piece out of the plastic cover so the U-joint was free and clear. This thirty-plus year old Atlas/Roco FP7 now runs as smooth and quiet as my new E-R Models FP7. Murphy has been sent begging once again.
Well today was somewhat of a busy day for me. This morning I got about a dozen freight cars put away, boxed up three locos, two loco shells and two 1/87 vehicles for shipment. About 10am I went to town to deliver my fathers tax paperwork to the AARP volunteers. As usual he didn't check ahead to make sure he had everything he needed so it was a wasted trip and a waste of my time and gas. I was NOT a happy camper. So I came back home and ripped into the primer gray Atlas FP7 to find out why it was buzzing like the barbers hair clippers. The solution was to simply cut out a piece of plastic a half inch square. I took away it's buzz
as this short video will attest. It's the gray loco.
Well that's it for me. Time to shut this mess down. See y'all tomorrow.

Good morning. It's 59° with 100% humidity. The high will be 78°.
The only thing on my schedule today is layout cleanup. Wanna bet I can't get it done due to interruptions? The newly remotored Atlas FP7 and the new E-R Models FP7 are getting a good run-in this morning as part of a consist of four FP7's pulling a heavy weighted general freight. It's quite a colorful consist. Unmarked gray/RI/BN/Ex-PRR.
I got some serious cleaning up done on the layout today, enough so at least I could put together this scene in Sundown, a place so laid back that two horseflys colliding head-on is big news.
Looks like Ezra's Exxon and take-out pizza joint is getting some business.
Good Evening...
We actually got some sun this afternoon....
Not much doings on the RR front..got a few new buildings put together and that was about it...spent the afternoon in the studio recording a few things as well...
Have a good evenin'..
Time for me to call it a night. See y'all tomorrow.

Good morning. It's 65° with 100% humidity. The high will be 80°.
It's been a long day for me already as I've been up since 3am. I'm operating on three and a half hours of sleep. Maybe I can catch a nap later. I'm going to try to get more done on the layout today. I got a good start yesterday but I have to keep it going. The extension is almost clutter free. Once that's cleared away I can get started on cleaning up the east side where I'll eventually put in some structures for Knutsville.
jeffery where did you get the pinto with the moon view window ?? thats cool
1977 Ford Pinto wagon from Motormax. It's part of the 1/87 Fresh Cherries line.
Good Morning
Dull and drab today..have about 1-2" more snow to fall this afternoon...again...sigh....
mmmm...seems Church stuff is the name of the game around here...two committee meetings and a budget thing to attend to here then off to the mall to try and get in some mall walking...maybe work in little time for the trains as well...
Have a good one!!
