Good morning.

It's 75 and mostly clear here. We're expecting a high in the low 90's with a chance of thunderstorms later.

Nothing special going on today. I went to my parents place for lunch yesterday. Lunch consisted of BLT's and chips. They had theirs on wheat bread, i had mine on sourdough. I hope we get some rain soon. The grass is starting to look a very unhealthy yellow tinge. The only other thing that went on was we had a call-out for a grass fire in Evans.

Good morning folks

It is 75 F on the way in this morning. High is supposed to be 84 F. Since I want to conduct an outdoor scout meeting tonight we are supposed to get heavy rain and are under a Flash Flood Watch. I don’t know why I came into work today. We have no water in the building due to a water main break. Also no air conditioning in a sealed building. Current temperature in my office is 78 F and climbing with no air circulation.

No modeling last night. We had to go out and look at a new kitchen table and chair set. We are about to lose another chair on our current set. We are down one and half right now. I have been able to repair the backs before but it has reached the point where there is not enough good wood left. We found a nice set and it goes on sale today.

As I mentioned above we have a Cub Scout meeting tonight and my daughter has her last basketball game of the regular season. We are not sure if they have playoffs.

I hope everybody has a good day.

Good Morning Folk ! It's 66 going up to 75 today with chance of showers. Looks like hurricane Dolly will hit Texas today . My friend just moved to Corpus Chirsti where it's heading . Hope he doesn't get too hard.A Golden Girl died last night . Estelle Getty , she was very funny as was the rest of the cast.Well have to go get some blood work so better go so I can eat later . Hope all have a nice day !!!

Air came on about an hour ago. It hit 81 F just before it came on. Right now it is barely tolerable. We now have porta potties in the parking lot. Nothing but the best for us government workers.

Well,,, thats me buggered then,,, looks like i better go round the back and eat from the trash cans

Good morning all!
I've been getting a little modeling in with track work. A little more and I can settle back to buildings and scenery.
Jim, we got a little rain last night and hopefully a chance again today.

I just tried that speed test. That is pretty handy if it is accurate...even sort-of. This is really more speed than I need, but there is not that much difference in price in it and Telco DSL.

Afternoon everyone!

Another gray, dreary day here in the Finger Lakes. Went over to Seneca Falls to get my hair cut this morning. Unfortunately it was difficult to get there from here. Up here in the North, we have 4 season's: Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter, and Road Construction. Guess what season it is right now? I finally did find an open route to get there, but it took awhile. Had the same problem on the way home. Turned from Rt. 5 & 20 on to the center road in Geneva only to find that just over the tracks it was completely blocked off, so I quick turned onto a back alley to get over where I thought I could get across the main drag...... That was blocked off as well a block over with no outlet. So I turned around and went back over to 5 & 20 and took the long way home.

Currently 76°F here in the Finger Lakes with a high of 74°F. Yep, that's what it says........

Hope all you folks down Texas way stay safe!

DANG, Jeffrey!! Make that a big loan, Old 97. :D :D
(Anyone hooked-up to a Super Computer, Ha!)

Well, time to go get my teeth impressions made for the soon to be removal.

Afternoon, Everyone

Roadrunner and Comcast seem to have some amazing speeds. Here's mine:

And this is on a good day. I hate Charter. But at least I won't have to buy breakfast since Rex is on the hook now. :)

Rex, it wasn't exactly a toad choker but we did get .16 inches. Looks like a lot of storms to the south but nothing moving our way.

Chris, glad to hear you got some rain and that the boss is feeding you. Nice to be shown some appreciation.

Tom, I want one of those cushy government jobs with no A/C and portapotties. :D

Paul, no worries for Corpus Christi. Dolly is ashore right over Brownsville so Corpus will be lucky to get a little rain out of it. Brownsville may have some real problems depending on the amount of rain and their levees.

Ray, I know what you mean about dreary up there in the summer and I'm sure recent events don't help. I hated Cleveland on days like that because you knew it was a portent of the winter to come. :( We're lucky down here. Unless we get the feds to pay, we never have road construction. Cuts into the graft money.

Rex, I hope the impressions go well. That's the most important step to getting good fitting dentures.

Steve, that's the saddest excuse for "broadband" speed I've ever seen. You should raise a stink with Carphone Warehouse.

Jeffrey, I'll take one of those Dagwood sandwiches. Should keep me fed for a week. :)

Partly cloudy here and 98 degrees with a dewpoint of 68 and really unstable air. Should be the recipe for some decent storms but nothing encouraging on radar yet. My daughter convinced us to take her out to Outback last night. Man, what bunch of crummy, overpriced food. Anyone else feel the same way or did I just get unlucky?

Thanks again to whatever mod whacked the warcraft gold jerk. You guys are good!

You know i don't have a clue were carphone warehouse fit's in, i think they only do the test (? I'm with AO Hell,,,

Roadrunner and Comcast seem to have some amazing speeds.

What amazes me about that is that I live way out in the boonies. I mean, I live in a small community (maybe 150 houses?), but it's cornfields and woods for miles in every direction.
