Evening all.Hi ya Miss Flo. Nothing much for me for a while,I'm still nursing a Root Canal job on one of my teeth,so I have to be careful about putting to much pressure on the tooth. Of couse the fun part is yet to come,I still need a crown:eek: .:( . So,no new trains for a while, till I get all this dental work done. All told, this is "molar" than I wanted:rolleyes:,but the 'tooth' be told:p ,I am glad that I went and had it done,as it could have led to something really nasty.Like a bacterial infection:eek: . I did do a little railfaning,in and around Central Alabama, and I have posted some photos elsewhere on the forums. Other than that, not much else goin on,. I hope you fellas ,had a safe and pleasent Labour Day week-end,and I'll check in later. Later.William.

Steve, it played all the way through for me. Track sounds were noisy...maybe to much gain on the mic, but the dubbing music was very clear.

Hi William! I sent you a forum email way back and it was blocked on your computer. I was telling you that you had to enter your photo in the contest photo gallery...not on the forum thread.

Hey guys, I'm still around!! I've been sneaking in at night and eating all the leftovers;) the ones that Flo doesn't take home:mad:

Jan and I have real busy outdoors with the decking, trellis screens and fence painting. I finally gave in and got a Wagner airless sprayer boy it's much quicker than a brush:eek:

The main deck needed 25 holes dug out for foundations and it's mostly stones and small rocks down there:mad: Oh my back!! I finally have the bearers in and just waitn on the weekend for more slave driving from the boss.

No train time at all!! which is kinda ok cause I'm getting frustrated with the whole darn thing, better to take a break than do sumthin stupid:rolleyes:

coffee's on so catch ya'll later.

Ken.

Good morning folks

It is a sticky 69 F right now. The high today is supposed to be 86 F. For the long weekend we had great weather. It was very pleasant and we did not have to run the a/c at all. I am still home as today is the first day of school and we will be taking them to school. After today they walk.

We enjoyed the long weekend. My wife worked at the museum on Saturday. I brought the kids down and they tested the new scavenger hunt. On Sunday we went to Wildwood Crest and spent the day on the beach. Sunday was we went to the Brandywine Zoo in Wilmington, DE and came home for a barbecue.

I did not get modeling in this weekend. I did get a chance to visit Mitchell’s Hobbies and pick up some scenery supplies.

I hope everybody has a good day.

Mornin' Bill!

Mornin' Tom!

Mornin' Paul!

Mornin' Jeffrey! Looks like you stayed here all night. Yeh, I know you had a bad day yesterday across the street. Hopefully Bergie will clean up the mess again....

Today is the start of my 8th. year of retirement. :D Tomorrow I may get up early and watch the big Yellow thing go down the street before I head back to bed for a nap. LOL On the other hand I will be spending most of today getting caught up on stuff I need to do like packing a box and getting it mailed. My battery back up for my computer died a couple of days ago so I need to get a new one. The old one got real hot and produced no power output in backup mode. I kept smelling a funny smell the last few days and finally traced it to the unit. Lucky I caught it before it burned my house down.

Congradulations. Insurance companies figure a person will live less than two years after retirement. It just goes to show that you have found something that gives your life meaning.

That should be an inspiration to us all.

afternoon all,
busy chasing wasps off my apples, little evil so and so's trying to sting me.
Rex the camera sound is nothing spectacular, just a very basic system, the picture rate is only 24 frames per second as well, OK though for me.
todays big story,,, a water buffalo called william shakespear escaped near here today, walked into a road and promptly got killed, was hit by a small Fiat car, what a mess the 1.5 ton animal did to the little Italian tin box

You mean..... Shakespeare is Bacon after all???? There used to be rumors years ago that Bacon was Shakespeare but who'd a known!

Hope the people in the car survived!

Good morning folks

It was a little hotter and more humid than I expected last night at football practice. Today it is supposed to be 82 F. Right now it is 67 F. Everyone in the house the last few days has been experiencing allergy issues. Apparently the Philadelphia area right now is one of the worst areas for weed pollen. It is getting so bad that my wife is beginning to have asthma problems as the pollen is making her super sensitive.

No modeling last night. I got home a little late from work and since it was the first day of school I spent a large amount of time discussing it with the kids. My son had football practice last and we thought we were going to be off tonight but we now have to go and get his photo taken for his league ID card. Apparently his teams ID cards were either stolen or mis-placed and now the whole team has to get them redone. The place we have to go will take me about a half an hour to 45 minutes to get to in rush hour traffic tonight. We are supposed to be there at 6 PM and I don’t expect to get home until 8 PM. It will be a long night.

On the bright side of things I just found out that the December Philadelphia area Greenberg Show will be at the Sun Center in Aston, PA. This is great for me because I won’t have to drive an hour to get there. I graduated from high school at the Sun Center and my daughter was supposed to play fall basketball there until the league got canceled because they did not have enough teams.

I hope everybody has a good day.
