Hi All, Jeff sorry about the spill. A few years ago I fell on the ice and broke my right wrist . the darn thnig got arthritis in it and gives me fits at times. Gee Ray I feel like a child compared to you I'm only 56 and the Lord did not Bless me with great health either.
Evening Gang: Well I woke up this morning and what do I fine? Snow. We had 1.5in and the weather guessers said there wouldn't be any accumulation. I called the boss he said that he wasn't really expecting me to come in. Only 16 days left.
No MRRing today. We had our hands full of taking care of the animals. My son and I went over to the track and were going to fire up my steam locomotive but the water pipes were frozen up so no water for the boiler.
Well Daisy the dog wants to go out so I'll have to take her. She has to have an audiance to cheer her on.
Good Night All
This was posted on train orders.
Bad news, I'm afraid.

Just found this in AJC.com
A body found earlier this month in a wooded area of east Alabama has been identified as a Gwinnett County man missing since before Christmas.
St. Clair County, Ala., Sheriff Terry Surles said Wednesday the body discovered Jan. 3 near Riverside, Ala., is that of 61-year-old Barry Alan Helling of Snellville.
Helling, who was found by two fishermen in woods off U.S. 78 east of Birmingham and about 140 miles from his home, died from an apparent gunshot wound to the back of the head.
Helling was last seen leaving his house on Dec. 9, and was reported missing by his partner later that day

evening all,
That's very sad news about the death of Barry Alan Helling.
Jos It has been a hell of a wild day today, we got 91 MPH wind's, part of the roof at work flew off and landed on the wire's of the main line, lucky all trains were stopped earlier, we have 10 dead around the country and around 700'000 homes with no electric. as for damage at home i lost some roof tiles which smashed some off next door's roof as well, i fitted some new ones on next door's single story roof but my two story roof will have to wait till the wind dies down tommorow, i don't fancy flying away. A house two door's away lost half of his roof tiles which did the same damage to his next door neigbour's roof, and tree's down, heck every other big tree is down. And a ship is adrift and sinking in the english channel, lucky for the crew lifeboat men got everyone off.
Hi all, Boy looks like you guys in Europe and Britain are having some wild weather also. The whole USA is one big mess ice and snow. Were suppose to get some tomorrow. Jeffrey sorry to hear about that fellow . What a way to die hope they find the shooter. Our killer rapist they caught is now being investigated for other rapes and muders throughout NewYork and a few across the border into Canada. Speaking of borders have you heard that you now need a Passport as of January 23 to go to Canada and Mexico from the US. Means I have to go and spend 90 dollars to get one if I want to go across our border with Canada .Thats really a bummer. Oh well you guys have a real nice Evening !
I saw it on television(8 o'clock news) how the storm went over your country as well as others in west- Europe.
Here in my country 5 people died in their cars because they were hit by falling trees.
Also the whole traintrafic was cancelled . Till tomorrow morning there are no trains running here. They did take these meashures because there where many trees fallen down and blocked the railroads . It is still too dangerous to remove these trees because of the, still, very strong winds.. So many people who travelled by train haveto stay at their office tonight because they cannot get home( busses don't drive either...2were already blown away from a road in the north !!
Hope the damage on your rofe is not so bad. Feel sorry for those who is!
Our neighbour country: Belgium, has serious plans to pay every one who wants to use the roads in Belgium for a year 70 euro( think that's too $70) If you have paid you'll have to put a sticker( of course on the inside) on your car. If not...a note/ticket+ the $ 70!!
Good morning All!,
The storm has gone...it's so quite here now....Glad no severe damages in our neighbourhood.
How are you doing at the other side of the great pond during this small "ice age"...Seen some videos on the net. Some are funny but some are NOT!
Do'n't slip away and keep it warm,
Good morning and top 'o' the day to all of ye.

Hi ALl ! Glad the storm Has finally blown through europe . heard that you had over 48 dead from it. it's always sad to see people die from strom related things. We also lost quite a few from our winter woes. Our ditrus crop in California is in ruins and ice all over the mIdwest. now a blast of snow. There perdicting up to two feet just south of us and another foot to our north. We live between to great lakes so sometimes it can be snowing just 10 mintues away and we don't see a drop. Go figure. Well enough long winded stuff hope you all have a nice friday will see you all later !!
Yeah it really sounds bad over there, I'm happy we're down under in the summer (although the weather is weird too).
Just Google earthed the new house we're hopeing to buy, it's 166 metres (180 yards) from the main south line and 3kms (1.7miles) from my other hobby car raceing track
So plenty to do other than mowing lawns and trimming trees!! who needs it, I think I'll get me a hammock
it's calmed down now just pouring rain,, till tommorow and were are in for a second coming of the wild weather.
One man was killed across the road from our work's, a petrol station canopy fell on him. At dad's caravan park three 120 ft poplar trees fell down, one right over the river weaver totally blocking it, should be fun removing that as it's in a very bad spot with no access except from the river.
