Mornin' Bill! I could get quite a sugar high with that box of goodies.....

Steve, Hope you got that sewer pipe all hooked back up and working. Hope your son has learned not to put stuff dowm there that doesn't "flush" away.

Happy Father's Day to all.

Happy fathers day to you folk's, i got a 2-1/2 lb bar of chocolate, LOL
no doughnuts today Bill, i'm stuffed.
Rayi got it all plugged up again, what a pain that was.
i finally got all the ground floor door's hung today, another job ticked off, only about 30 job's to go now

Happy Fathers' Day to all you dads out there. I hope you all had a great day --- breakfast in bed, sports all day from the comfort of your favorite chair, beverages of your choice presented upon request. Nothing but the best for all you guys. :)

Happy Father's Day to all ! My daughter sent me several boxes of Godiva Chocolates. Wow! Ummmm good, but there goes my diet again...again...and again... Bill's donuts threw me over the edge and now I can't resist any goodies.

Had a great time yesterday at the ARG meet. If you haven't checked out GM's post, take a look.

Tomorrow, I hope to get back to my background scenery on the extension. I had salvaged one poster and experimented with it: cutting it out, putting foam board on it. It looked great, so tomorrow I will get started on the new ones.
The Very Best to all!

Good morning ! from Indiana. :D

I made breakfast as Nicky does not get in from work till 9am

Sports,,, does that include fitting new doors:( and chasing three children round, mind you it burned off the 1kg bar of chocolate:eek:

Beverages,,,i have to make everything as nicky's in bed all day

I had a bit more excercise today chasing an 18" rat round work, it escaped but i'll be back;)

Hi crew, just thought I stop in for a quick one...

Claudia, Thanx for the warm Fathers Day wishes! That must be one mighty street-wise rat if the neighborhood cats haven't been able to dispatch it yet...

Steve - Was that with, or without the tail? Better not let him anywhere near your sewer:D

Rex, glad your backdrop problem is resolving.

I've been driving myself totally nuts these past few days, trying to make my NMRA powerpoint presentation "just a little bit better" (yeah right). That's the curse of modern word processors and graphical edit tools, there's always one revision, then another, then another, then another... I finally burned the finished product onto a CD [3 copies] to send to the Clinics chairman and the 'Steel' track coordinator, so maybe I can start focusing on other stuff...oh wait a minute, there's still the Clinic Book part that has to be finished....

Ken that's with the tail, glad your making progress with the PP presentation, I'm trying to develop a bullet proof track plan but it's not working,,,Aghhhh, i think i'll sleep on it till the morrow

Hi, everyone, long time no see!

Got in from Mobile a lot later than we wanted to last night:(.

While we were there, we stopped to see my wife's mother, and her stepdad. Her mother's been real sick for a long time and has good days and bad days, yesterday was a bad day. She recognised my wife, but had no idea who I was.:( (Ten years ago she had a cerebral aneurysm burst and we almost lost her.)

We also stopped in Selma, my hometown, and saw my sister and the newly weds from last week. My niece and her husband is moving to Groton, Conneticutt. He's based there with the sub force, as a reactor technician, and two weeks after they get up there he'll be gone for 3 months on a patrol.

Wanted to get some railfanning in while down there, but didn't get the chance. Oh well, maybe next time.

KenL: I feel for you and your PP presentation. It is an excellent tool and I have been very pleased with the ease of developing 1st class presentations.

Your worries reminded me of a PP presentation w/narration that I had to make before I retired from the College. It was to 150 area CEO's and guests at the Chamber of Commerce. Naturally, I wanted it perfect mainly to support my case of public speaking nerves. I battled and battled with it trying this and thats, but finally a colleague that was a real pro at public speaking said, '...just keep it simple and natural." After his words of wisdom I finished a more simple design for the presentation, delivered it, and was very successful with it. So many times we make things more complicated than they should be.
Just some thoughts.;) :)
