Jeeze! What a slow day. Flo, how about you and me taking a break and going to a...ahh...movie?

Shhhh I won't tell Carolyn!!:D :D

I can't believe i was passed over for promotion, I've been doing the job for 6 months and when it comes up as official promotion the loser in the company gets the job.
Man I'm pissed. All my ideas for improving the place just went out the window. I'm the guy with the longest face at work at the moment!!

Oh well back to the good old job. Well at least I only do about 6 hours a day and get paid for 8.

Ken.

Ken, sometimes promotion only means your butt shines brighter as a target. Heck, at least you will only be responsible for yourself and not others when they screw up.;)

Good morning ! from Indiana. :D

Ken MNever mind Ken, i wouldn't lose any sleep over it, if the other guy's a loser it will be more fun watching him get it wrong,,, 6 out of 10 hours,,,Hey on the bright side that's 10 hours of MR'ing time a week.

Just doing some Ebaying, i'v got a big RC police boat up for sale and i have winning bids on 20 odd set's of Peco turnouts and a loco,,, hope the boat sells for a good price or i'm in deep doo doo with the CFO

Ewwww. This rat visits the bird feeder outside my office window. I've seen him shinny up and down the wire from the roof overhang. The lazy neighborhood cats aren't doing their job!!!

Yes we've got this problem too but I have to admit I could be to blame for their visits as I've been feeding them lots of goodies:eek:

A wee bit of Warfrin and a whole lot of Bromone:D Unfortunately I haven't seen the rats since! Fussy bunch they are:rolleyes:

And yes I've made sure the dogs, cats and birds wouldn't get at it.

Well I got off the ship yesterday and not a day too soon. Had to be one of the hardest trips I've done in a long time, running around and putting out fires daily! Nothing worse being behind schedule, Machinary problems, audits and alongside!

Though I did get two Tsunami's installed last week, better than staying in a Holiday Inn!

Later All and Happy thoughts!

Mornin' Bill! (Or should I say Afternoon?)

Lady_Railfan, the neighborhood cats are probably afraid of the rat... Tough to tackle something bigger than yourself.

Fergie, At least you didn't have a boring trip.... A few days of rest and relaxation, gardening and lawn mowing should get your spirits back up.

I spent the morning getting sound up and running for graduation ceremonies tonight. Took about half an hour to track down the hum to the Bass amp....... The Opera House where the ceremonies are has two seperate 120v feeds into it. All the equipment was grounded on one circuit except for the Bass Amp. It now has a ground lifter on it.

More news!! They have realized their mistake, don't want me to leave, reduced the power the loser supervisor has got. And gave me an extra $2 an hour so I'll stay!! hehehe.

Hopefully after I write them a letter outlining my ideas they will make me Service Manager.

Ken MWay to go Ken :D
FergieWelcome back Fergie

Well it was time for the annual test of my car this week, it only required an £8 brake hose, not bad for a 21 year old car

Good to see the crowd is alive and kicking.

Ken M: Glad things sorted themselves out! We just went throug promotions 2 years ago. A process which took two years to complete, kinda like an elephant's gestation period. Anyway 25 people and only 7 positions = A lot of unhappy campers, especially as most of us had been doing the positions applied for over a several year period (seven years for me). And at the end of the day though I was one of the fortunate few, there were no bands playing just a sigh of relief. Sometimes I envy those who work under me!

Well onto other news... Well I went and done it! I am now registered in Trainboard/Railimages as I am transfering my gallery over to the new site
(oh Joy!)

I had a quick look at the Trainboard section and though the cplours are different nothing caught my eye. I have to admit this site seems to be set up the best.

Anyway the weath is rotten so time to clean

Later All and happy Thoughts

Mornin' Bill! Flo, I'll have that eclair if it's not spoken for to go with my coffee.

And that would be one of those calorie free ones, right!:D

Nice try Ray, seems that ever since Bill has started his daily run you've been the first one in here and all I see is a crumb trail:mad: BTW might want to run your fingers through the beard as the crueller is smiling:rolleyes:

Well I've started the next Tsunami install in my CNR 4-6-4 and this could prove to be the most challenging install yet. pics to follow.

On another note I'm seriously thinking of opening a second yard and outer main line as the number of locos claiming trackage rights is escalating and I have problems keeping the rails open to the highballs.

Any thoughts?

Fergie;

Like Rex, you've apparently forgotten the fifth law of Model Railroading:"All model railroads expand to fill any available space!":D

Don't ask what the other laws are...I ain't awake yet.

ROFLMAO! Thanks Fergie, I needed that. As a matter of fact a couple of the pounds I have lost seem to be sneaking back on........ Your mainline problems just mean that business is good even if it is a M.E.S.S. :D

Oh, I almost forgot. Mornin' Bill!

I don't know how i'm gonna fit everything in my garage at the moment, The RC boat went for £108 on Ebay so i'm on a spending spree before the CFO finds out how much i made, Just won a Kibri metal viaduct on ebay for £19, it's almost three feet long and a foot high so should fill a gap, i also won some left and right peco points of various sizes, on with the garage clearance Phewww
