CJ, You forgot to mention your love of gangsta rap. :D

Eric; Ya gotta be ****ing Kidding me!:eek:

I hear it all the time, whether I wanna or not!:mad: These "people" with their 1000 watt systems coming down the street and all you hear is a badly distorted, thump, thump, thump....Don't get me started!!!:mad:

I actually like the small town here in Bama, Cordova, that has possibly the best anti-noise ordinance in the world!:p No specially calibrated instruments, no decibel meters etc, needed. If you can hear the radio/stereo outside of your car, its too loud and you get a ticket!:p:D Wonder how many people they've caught?:rolleyes:

Mornin' Bill!

Busy morning over here.... Must be they locked the doors across the street for renovations?

Carey, your tastes in music and mine would get along well. I would think I would rely a bit more on Dooby Brothers and stuff like that (gotta love "Ol' Black Water").

The conversation on the trucks reminds me of the former owner of the house across the street (where the guy is out watering his trees in the rain and mows the lawn twice a day). Former owner was a student of mine and when he moved in he had a brand new Dodge Dakota. About 2 months later he has a Chevy truck sitting over there. Three months after that he has a Ford. Went through a new vehicle every 4 months on average. He wore them out by washing and waxing them every two or three days. I would back out of my driveway when he would be washing it, roll down my window, and tell him, "Shoulda kept the Dodge!". "You don't have to wash them...... They're work trucks, supposed to be dirty!" My 2002 Dakota gets washed every time it rains......:rolleyes: :D

I'm with you Stan with the addition of light classical, jazz, and blues. I can't handle noise like Rap, hiphop, heavy metal, punk, and etc.

Carey: The badly distorted thump, thump, is caused by the bumpers, engines, and doors vibrating loose.:eek: :D

EDIT: I hope the younger generations are learning sign language...they will need it!!

Looking Good!! Now just move those SRR emblems into the center where they belong and you got it right, and don't foget the safety stripes!

Dekruif;

This is the position I was talking about. Did a little editing with paint.

It don't think it will fit there without interfering with the lights that are supposed to go there.:mad:

Go ahead and trim around the decal some. To me it just doesn't say SRR without that emblem centered. Are you using Microscale decals?

Yes i'm using Microsclae decals. Do you mean trim the clear stuff or actually part of the decal itself?

Use a razor blade/sharp knife, and after the decal is placed on the model, trim the film so it will lay down some in the headlight depression. Also you may be able to get the decal to sit closer to the stripe. If you think the decal will get too distorted from the slicing, lower it halfway into the stripe, to where the gold stripe bisects the "joint" between the SR emblem and the slogan, "Look Ahead Look South". Then apply the decal solution to fix in place.
