Just about finished with my C&NW GP7 4120 in final paint scheme. This locomotive and her sister 4190 serviced the Ogilvie Station hauling Metra cars in and out to California Ave Yards. After the UP take over the the C&NW 4120 and 4190 remained in service as Ogilvie switchers because of their lower footboards making it easier for crews to handle the Metra Bilevels. I have many fond memories of coming in on the CNW west line and seeing these GP7s working the station well into the 2000s when the CNW locomotives had started to fade from the rails.

Very nice paint and detail I hope to one day get my CNW units looking that good.
By the way Marc, I'm current sitting across the river from the Ogilvie, at Wacker and Madison, hello from back in Chicago

one of my favorite locos. Looks great...I could think of some better colors though...Lark Grey immediatly comes to mind, maybe a bloody nose...:D

Strong work.
