Are hot wheels really 1:87 scale????

For clarification. Yes and no. The Hot Wheels line of toys that are in blister packs and hang on pegs and cost about $1 are typically 1/64th scale. However, many of the larger trucks and construction type tractors and equipment have been found to be scaled down enough to pass in HO.

Hot Wheels does have a line of 1/87 scaled cars that come in plastic cube like display case just like the photos that have been shown so far.

It is very good to buy the car in such scale 1:87!!! :)
I at all didn't know that such is... Thought that it simply toys)))
It can be collected and it is very interesting! Such cars too take place on a breadboard model.

Well, don't get us wrong. The 1/87 Hotwheels cars are toys.... HO scale toys. Most of the cars have no "prototype" :D (Batmobile? Hotwheels FBI van? Pimped out Honda Civic? Ok the pimped out Honda Civic might have a prototype, and I have to admit, that I have one of them (the Hotwheels "model" that is, not an actual pimped out Honda Civic))

Quality-wise, they're the same as the regular cheapo line.

ford track '80...

Has found in shop... Searched long! :)

This "Ford" that that is necessary for my plan! This firm "GoldStar" any more doesn't work... It just that time of 1980...

Small details of the car are very well made.

There are 190 roubles - 6.3$

The Dairy Delivery is based on a hot rodded Divco milk truck. That 40 Ford pickup is based on a drag race pickup which is obvious when you look close at it.

Long talking... Ford Mustang

Likely it is possible to talk long about this car!
At us such American models cost more expensive! But I have bought this not expensively: 360 roubles - 12$

I'm looking forward to alot of the new 1/87 scale vehicles that are due out in 2011. http://www.mo87.com/index.php?site=5&val=ber-ver&cont=071e#15
You can follow the link to a site where you can click on the manufacturers at the top of the page to see upcoming releases.
(I tried to copy and paste the photos here and it appeared to work, but when I left and came back the pictures were gone, so if you want to see these new releases you'll need to check out the link.)

The 53 Ford Country Squire by Classic Metalworks is already out but I haven't seen them yet.

This summer they will also have a 53 Ford Courier Sedan Delivery as well, and the 42-47 Chevy trucks.
Sometime this year Classic Metalworks is supposed to be releasing a 56 Dodge Royal 4 door sedan as well.

Then theres Brekina. I'm pretty excited about the little mid 60's Dodge A-100 panel vans and window vans that are due out in April or May.

Then theres River Point Station with the 50 Ford 4 door sedan and 2008 Dodge Challenger coupe.

Wikings going to be doing a 64 Mustang convertible and coupe, but since theres a nice one already available from Busch, I can't get too excited about this one.

But Bub's got a little 66 Shelby Mustang fastback coming that might be interesting.

ЗИС-150

Today I have bought this model!!!
I already here spoke about cars on iron wheels...
It ЗИС-150 continuation...

Rustam nice find!
Here's a couple of new trailers for the Fuerst Matthes Paper Co. and another motorcycle I picked up seen here in down town Mallory:

The Chevy pickup and the 67 Plymouth are nice, but, they are actually 1/64 scale which is "S" scale.
There is a plastic 68 Plymouth 4 door sedan that was made in 1/87 scale a couple years ago in the Main Street Models series by Atlas. And Trident made a plastic 1/87 scale Chevy stepside. It was probably a late 70's or early 80's model.

Specially for fans - hot wheels!)))

Its funny what you will find at a discount store and the funny thing about they are all hotwheels and they are 1:87 scale :D

This truck is made of metal! There are 6 dollars. Doesn't break and very much approaches for children! Here that for us waits tomorrow... And hands remain old - ;-)

I will tell fairly - me has persuaded 1:87 ;-)
