    Georgetown Loop

    What is the current power on the Loop?? The last time I was there they had a little AlCo diesel switcher pulling the train. It sounded like it was ready to explode going up the hill. The diesels were at the museum at Golden. If I recall there was a big disagreement between two groups.

    Has Atlas Ever Released a GP-9 in HO?

    Go to - www.atlasrr.com . Click on the search button & type GP9 into the box. It will give you a list of all road names Atlas issued & dates. It looks like they did GP7s but no 9s in HO. They were produced in N gauge though.

    Bachmann Supreme H-4 2-6-6-2 articulated

    I run on 22" radius. It will work but might also look a bit strange as it turns. 24 or larger is much better. I have a sound unit and a silent unit. I love them both.

    What is the value of this train?

    This was a very old release. It has been discontinued as, I was told, the molds were damaged. This is an accurate model of the Reading I10sa. Some of these were eventually turned into the Reading T-1, a 4-8-4 of which 4 survive today.

    Lionel HO GP-9 "GM 50" Chessie / B&O

    Getting parts for older Bachmann items is practically impossible from the factory (and some parts for new runs are hard to get too!!). The best source would be to buy a similar unit for the parts but they would be the same quality. Personally I would stay away from the old Lionel engines...
