I have an HO scale layout and use Kato track. When I run my HO locomotive it tuns for 3-4 seconds then stops. I check the voltage on the track and it is 16.3V. So it is in the range of HO voltage.. And there are no gaps on the track. Also, I use ESU Cab Control DCC system with its bubble...

Yeah, I used 2891 as the locomotive address and it works, but now I can't program it into JMRI because when I create a new entry it won't let me program this address into PanelPro. My DCC controller track output light is red color. It's overloaded or something. I use Digikeijs DR5000 as my...

Hello,
I just purchased a Southern Pacific #2891 engine. Nice little locomotive, but it doesn't move. I power up my layout and all it does is make a diesel engine sound. I have another loco and it works fine. This locomotive address is 3. What could be the problem. Please help me. Thank you...

No sir it is more complicated than that. Plus reversing the wires on AC (which is essentially DCC) wouldn't matter. AC voltage has no polarity. I have Kato tech person working on researching on how to connect the signal light. But thank you for advice.

Hello,
I am having trouble setting up my 3 color signal. When I connect it to the track output of my DCC controller, it doesn't work for some reason. It is DCC friendly according to Kato. Please help. Thank you.

I have gaps between the rails where the joiners are. The curves are 22 inch ez track curves. My straights are 9 inch straights. My engine is a Bachmann EMD gp38 Norfolk Southern (DCC Sound) and I am using a DR5000 command station plus a ESU 2 Throttle unit. Using JMRI ofcourse. Any more questions?

Hello,
I am trying to build an oval using EZ track. I am using eight (8) 22" curves on both sides of the oval and straight pieces ofcourse. No matter what I do, I have gaps between some of my rails. And that's why my DCC locomotive doesn't run good. It derails most of the time. Any suggestions...
