We're getting remnant moisture from "tropical storm Rachel" and it's supposed to rain 2-4" this weekend and continue a few more days, though today the rain has been minimal. A few downpours that didn't last too long. We'll see how it works out. I did go and caulk around a window frame in...

THat's really high. Do you have weird dreams? High doses of melatonin are known to lead to nightmares and intense, weird dreams. I experienced this myself a while back. I use 1-3mg when I am trying to change my sleep schedule. But not as a normal da\ily thing. A week worth when...

I’d let them know that any bills related to the bladder knick are their responsibility. Not your job to pay for their screwups.

It's more than manufacturing defects. It's engineering failures. I'm not a GM person nor a gear head but I've been watching some YouTube videos put out by gear heads and engineers on the issue.

To follow up, the 3 letter codes are the IATA codes used mainly for commercial travel and public facing uses and the 4 letter ICAO codes are used for technical uses, ATC, etc. IATA = International Air Transport Association. ICAO = International Civil Aviation Organization. Some of the 4...

For those wondering, YYZ is a cool Rush song. YYZ is the airport code for Toronto (where Rush was based).

OK. I have some NGDCC decoders -- mostly the bi-polar function decoders. If they're using those then the feature probably is something Japan normally uses. (or the code they used as a base for the decoder had it by default). Thanks for the update.

Or whatever decoder they chose was not Japan specific but one that includes this N. American "standard"?

Contrary to opinion here, the purpose of a rock song and especially prog and fusion and blues songs (and of course jazz) is to provide a backdrop for the solos. Straight rock songs less so and shorter solos (a bar or 4 or 6). Hard rock tends to be longer, as it should (think Zeppelin or...

Complain directly to eBay. I haven’t used eBay in years but occasionally see stuff on the eBay Reddit. You can request return due to not matching description. eBay will regulate it.

But it’s not. And with SIM spoofing it’s easy to take over someone’s number if they really want to and can somehow get the basic info needed to do it. This is how most of the big hacks you hear about happen. It’s why some places have gone away from 2FA and require Passkeys and stuff like...
