You need something for a reference to size in the pic. As nice as those look it's hard to tell how small they really are.

Saw a layout once of N scale
NARROW gauge. The layout and scenery was absolutely gorgeous! The mechanisms were all Z gauge Marklin steamers. It was modeled after Colorado narrow gauge. Saw this several years ago at a NMRA National. If I can find the 35mm photos I took, I'll try to post them.
That's Nn3 scale. It's N-scale stuff, on Z-gauge track. I use some of the Micro-Train cars for my Z, since they are turn of the century boxcars.
