Working on another way to make custom wrapped lumber loads. What's your opinion on which looks better?

@PMW. That one is a gel ball point pen. The right is upholstery thread. The bundle is made from printed cardstock and painted with matte medium.
The one on the left looks more like metal banding. Nice job.
The technique appears to work well with n-scale tool. Bought this bulk head flat car by Wheels of Time. Nice looking little car. Just might have to make a little switching layout for it.
I like the left better as well.
