XtrakCad for Mac with Lion

Hi guys,

I just got a new Macbook Pro. I bought it so I could run the backdrop biz while on the road for work but I am also hoping tun XtrakCad on it to design parts of the new layout.

Unfortunately, the XtrakCad seems to be having a problem running on my Lion operating system. i was wondering if anyone else was experiencing such a problem and if anyone knew of a fix.

I do have X11 Installed as required.

Same here, it's a known issue. You can try this:

I've opted to use Empire Express and RailModeller instead.

If you have VMWare Fusion or Parallels you might be able to run the Windows version of XtrkCad. I've got Fusion with virtual machines for both XP and Win7, one of these days I'll have to give it a try.
