Hi,
I was thinking of doing a layout similar to the WGH track plan using Bachmann nickel silver track. I was wondering if anyone has built or has pictures of the layout from different angles so that I could see what it looks rather than deciding from the track plan.
Thanks

That's a nice starter layout for a 4x8 plywood. You can find all kinds of info on that plan. As UP2CSX pointed out many manufactures have pack of track for it and buildings and scenery materials.
You might want to check some of the plans HERE. There's a lot of nice plans with a little more operational potential then the WGH plan. With most of them they show step by step progress and side articles on scenery or building construction. A nice site.

I was wondering if the switches in the Bachmann WGH track pack were remote controlled or manual.
I have also decided to do dcc on this layout and I plan on using a dcc equipped Spectrum 2-8-0 (ATSF) ans I was wondering if anyone has this locomotive(any roadname) and I was wondering how well they run out of the box. Also MB Klein lists the min. radius as 18" and I was wondering if that is true.
My final question for now is what industries would look the best for the small yard area that are easy to assemble. I have never assembled a structure before so I want something easy to assemble.
Thanks in advance
