Does anyone know of other wood kits like LaBelle's? I'm enjoying the LaBelle kits I have put together; just wondering if there are other brands to choose from. -thanks
Ambroid had a few kits out, but they, like LaBelle, are not longer in production. There are some Ambroid kits on eBay, but the prices are CRAZY. As noted in another thread, the trend is toward RTR plastic. Northeastern still makes wood floors and roofs, so scratch building is an option.
My LHS has a great collection of wood car kits for sale. I've perused it repeatedly for the last six months, purchasing mostly cabeese. There are several brands. Red Ball and Silver Streak are two other brands IIRC.
