Women Drivers

These things do happen. Back around 1975, a woman - a mental patient who had slipped away from the Delaware State Mental Hospital some 10-15 miles away - found a idling SW1 shifter within the grounds of Wilmington Shops, and figured out how to release the brake and operate the throttle, and took herself for a ride. She ran through several switches, ran a stop signal, and followed the railroad about a mile to 12th street, when she reversed direction and derailed the locomotive on a previously run through switch. She was still on the derailed locomotive, still trying to move it when the railroad cops found her, and arrested her.
It was hard to believe this small and wacky lady was capable of pulling this off. Her reply was that for her next performance, she would go to the airport and fly an aircraft. True story.

Hehe. She really "cleaned" that house didn't she.... ?

Sorry couldn't resist.

That would really suck to have a train pile into your house.

I wonder if the frequent flyer miles would still count.
