Williams Bachman merge ?

Bachmann is actually part of a huge Chinese conglomerate, Kader Holdings LTD. Their stock trades as KDHOF.PK and it's a nickel a share if you want some. :) They are a very secretive outfit but their strategy has been to buy failing toy companies all over the world. Their factories are owned jointly with the Chinese government and there have been persistent rumors that they are a front for the Chinese Army (PRC) as a way to gain technology under the guise of producing toys. There's no news yet of them making another purchase but that would be in line with their past activities.

I got an Email newsletter from H&R Trains a week or two ago and they were talking about Bachmann taking over Williams like it was a done deal. H&R is a very large tinplate dealer as well as a LHS in the St. Pete, FL area.
