Who is the REAL Tooter?

Ted (Thaddeus) Tooter is a rather diminutive chap, standing about 18 inches tall, and weighs about 2 stone. He is fond of railways of all sort, favouring narrow gauge lines the most.

Tooter resides in Llanwrtyd, Wales, where the Powys & Swansea Line used to exist. (You see, it was so small of a railway that it went missing, and it was years before the locals noticed.)

The aficionado of history can tell you of The P&S’s famous coaches with single-axel bogies. The goods wagons were so short that they were often wider than long. The P&S was always in financial scrapes due to the high expenditures in cutting torch fuel, taking cast off railway cars and chopping them down to ridiculously short and useless rolling stock.

Tooter has singlehandedly, through the medium of the Internet; spread his addiction worldwide, with fans as far afield as California, in the USA.

Tooter’s crowning achievement came when he succeeded in putting the front wheel of a locomotive in front of the other, creating an engine so short that it could only be measured by going into another dimension.

Very clever and inventive, Jazz... :)

...although I don't think I could live up (or down) to the legend. ;)
