You should go to Discount model trains in Addison,, 20% all the time.

No actually I'm talking about Larry's Hobbies. But I do occasionally go into Spring Crossing. Especially if I'm looking for something that's been out for a while. BTW Addison is a tad far to be driving just to go buy model train stuff (240 miles one way).

I really hope everyone tries there best to support their local hobby shop, I understand about those that live miles away from a decent shop, and of course those few shops that just don't get it on making the customer happy, without giving the store away. I found that once you get to know your LHS, you can expect discounts that are close to mail/Internet sites. Maybe I am partial since I fill in at one 2 days a week, but even before I did that I always felt that seeing a face when placing my money out, as well as knowing that a small percentage of my money was staying in town, gives me a satisfaction in knowing I am helping my community.
