I am modeling the union pacific rail road (new to the union pacific road name) and i was just wondering what are some tips for modeling the union pacific so it is prototypical?? It would be very helpful!
Lots of reading! There is plenty out there on the web. A Google search will probably get you weeks worth of reading. There are also many books avalable. I'd suggest you look at the railroad's historical society as well. Pick an era and go for it!
I have 1. BIG power. The U.P. always seemed to be over the top with their loco's to me. Of course look at the vast expanse they deal with when it comes to land.
Thanks! I will search the web here and probably most of the night haha and see what i can find!
Ya ive noticed that too about the U.P haha thats why i picked them because i love their big locos, the only bad thing is i dont have enough room at the moment to have large enough turn radii or radius (what ever it is) to run those big locos
