Hi all. :)

So, I needed a motorized truck to fit an old critter shell I had lying around, since a new HO layout I'm building has very sharp curves due to space limitations. However, I wasn't going to spend $100 for one motorized truck.

So, within the space of two days, I found that spare Atlas locomotive truck + New Bright RC car motor + a few other parts and a shell + lots of hot glue = Junk Box Critter. And she runs alright too! :D

Good work!

Did something similar with a 6 wheel Athearn truck, removed the center axle and fitted it with a motor from a CD rom........low voltage only!!
After going 200 scale m.p.h. and frying motor #1, I installed a DCC decoder and changed the speed settings!!:eek::eek::rolleyes:
