I saw this today… running water catches the overspray.. interesting
There are indoor shooting ranges that use a similar concept to mitigate lead vapors from the slugs hitting the backstop. The idea is that the oil (they don't use water, but some sort of oil, I believe) will catch whatever lead "fumes" would normaly escape into the air as the lead bullets slam into the backstop.

I subscribe to his channel. When I first saw this on his Patreon my first impression was why? Then it was, is that waterfall effective enough? But my booth is much bigger then his main booth and mine works for me. I don’t think the waterfall is a gimmick but like water cooling a gaming computer, some times there is a place for it.
