Take a look at Plan 5 at http://www.modeltrainguide.com/index.php?mode=displayarticle&section=3&article=3. This plan has a passing track and small yard and you can load the RAL file into your Right Track software and play around with it. There's also a plan on that page for a layout with a turntable but I hate to use a turntable on a 4x8 since it takes up so much valuable real estate.

Bought my track cept for turnouts today, didn't have to buy much since my dad has TONS of HO track.

Getting foam sheets tomorrow at home depot

Got my plywood and horses

Got everything that I want to put down, before scenery

Got ballast, and tools.

And for the heck of it a landscape kit.

Thank you, when my family finally seen how serious I was, they all said they support be through it, and most important let me do it. Plus it gives a reason for my nephews and nieces to come over more.
