I would NOT like to be standing trackside with that flying past, just one loose lump of ballast and that would be it, splat

I'd be trackside, but at a safe distance!!

Where I WOULDN'T want to be is IN the train during a derailment!!!!!

Yes, and that would be the one thing to keep me off that train if I ever went there. I've ran a few of their prize rebuilds and lets just say, not pretty.
