Greeting folks,

I wanted to know if anyone has used the mentioned street lights on their layouts. Can you tell me the size of the light fixture and how did you get it "hanging" in the scene. I'm guessing the wire the light hangs from is in fact the wires to the light bulbs. Here is a link to the item on Walthers site. Single-Sided Hanging Traffic Light

I had thought about putting one into my town of Logan, but the town is really too small for a traffic light. It would have made a nice detail.
 
I have a friend who installed several of the traffic signals on his layout and he hung them from poles and ran micro wire to building(s) from the pole(s). The wire once inside the building was attached under the layout to a terminal.

The signal do add a lot of interest to a street scene.
