Wow that's looking great!
Walthers makes a nice locomotive, good weight to it and smooth runners.
I have three, one I swapped shells with a Life-Like F40ph because it was the yellow Home Hardware version.
Wonder if a Kato shell crosses over as well, hmmm….
 
Fantastic work! I love that level of detail. It's too bad they don't all come that way from the factory. A lot of Euro locomotives come close, but you've gone above and beyond.
 
That is some great detail work there. Really clean bending and modeling on the brass lines too.
If I ever get an AMTK train it will be pulled by F40's.
