Very cool track picture

ModelRailroadForums.com is a free Model Railroad Discussion Forum and photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. Online since 2002, it's one of the oldest and largest model railroad forums on the web. Whether you're a master model railroader or just getting started, you'll find something of interest here.

There's a spot on the CEMR where high cube cars are/were used to control the vegetation.
Not nearly as cool as this pic but the trees were squared off in a similar fasion.

Whose going to be the first to model it? It might make a good transition through a backdrop where a (normal) tunnel wouldn't work. Good luck fixing a derailment!
Oh yeah, very cool pic.

It would be cool to see it from the outside, with a train running through. Might look similar to watching fish under water.

Damn! That is badass! How the heck do they maintain it to look like that? A lot of weekly trimming I suppose?

Probably by not maintaining it at all. The trains passing through will break off branches that grow over the tracks and naturally form a passage that exactly conforms to the outline of the equipment.

If this track was actually maintained, the trees would be cut a lot further back and there wouldn't be stuff growing between the rails.

Looks cool, something that one might look into modeling. However it does look photoshopped. Either way its a cool photo and thanks for sharing
