Hi Jack from Star, Idaho. Here are a few photos of the trestle I am building. The top deck in the photo is not installed and I have not installed the barrels. The top deck has metal railings and 1mm red LED's on both sides as aircraft markers. Plus I added LED flood lights to shine on the lower track which looks cool at night. I know I have a few trees below the trestle but remember I am not a proto type modeler, I do what appeals to me because it's my railroad. I should have this thing completed in the next several weeks but will not install the top deck until the back drop is painted...

That's an AWESOME bridge! And nice set of locos too. What is that on your backdrop? Lightning strikes? Is that a painted backdrop or photo?

Actually the back drop is not painted yet I have just sketched some ideas in...

Are you using a template of some kind to do the trusses or whatever you would call each cross section?
Trestle Jig
I bought a jig from Black Bear Construction. The jig is very high quality and a must when you have a lot of bents to build. I will have 44 when I am finished. If you plan to build a trestle bridge use a jig because each bent has to have a degree of accuracy.
