Hi there, new to model railroading. Have some questions regarding which brand of track to use. I am building an HO scale layout for my 4 year old son and I to enjoy. Which is the best track to buy for someone new that is easy to use and fairly affordable? Thank you.
Atlas or Kato, code 100, if you're building for a child.
atlas code 100 sectional track would be easy or life like power lock track you can put it together and then pick it up without taking it apart and good for little hands.
Track with the plastic roadbed already on it would be a good starter.
I'd shy away from Life Like (just recently got a loop of it) and HATE the way it connects, way too uneven, thus my suggestion for Atlas or Kato.
