Those are impressive structures. How much of an area do you have devoted to the steel mill?
Thanx Steve! The mill occupies an area ~15ft x 6ft. It was the center peninsula on my previous layout (click HERE to view).

I've dismantled the top and bottom peninsulas, but left the mill benchwork intact and flipped it 180 degrees to fit the new track plan. The old island-style plan had way too many duck-unders; the new one will be around-the-walls with a 6ft blob at each end.

I like your track plan and getting rid of duck unders is never a bad thing. I hope some day I will have the room to model a steel mill properly.
