I just got a brand new set of MTH F3s D&RGW for the California Zephyr. I have 10 BLI Zephyr cars. I had the 8 car set from 2 years ago. And I just got 2 more new ones.

MTH has PA (Passenger Announcements). Hitting F4 launches the announcements sequence. Arrival, disembarking, and departure. I had no idea they were Cali Zephyr specific. I was amazed when I heard it. Really cool.

I love these so much, that I'm gonna get another B unit now.

I shot a video last night. At Cheyenne Depot Station arriving from Chicago. And then departing to Denver, and then to San Francisco.

Looks very nice. I think that would be one train that you would not really want to weather at all! Perhaps you can add a wash house to the passenger train storage tracks! ...

So about the California Zephyr, a 'by the way' kinda question... ... but I don't want to hijack the thread, so I'll post it elsewhere...

In real life it was washed in Denver.

Thanks everybody. Yes the real train was kept clean, so I won't be weathering this one.

I'm gonna order another B unit in a couple of weeks.
