I have a DCS commander question that I've been unable to find the answer to on FAQs and message boards. I purchased a DCS Commander System w/100 watt power supply and I'm planning to have it connected to two separate HO scale track layouts. Now I know that the DCS Commander is perfectly capable of running DCS, DCC and analog DC locomotives but here is my question:

Is it possible for me to run my MTH HO steam locomotive (NYC 4-8-2 L-3c Mohawk [item no. 80-3125-1]) on one track layout in DCS mode and an analog DC locomotive on the other track layout in analog DC mode at the same time? Or can the DCS commander really only be in one of the three modes for all of the locomotives that it's controlling at one time?
