Just my luck, i lost a wire and front headlight didn't work. That was after i had it all together. Going back together right now. Those wires for the lights are real brittle when soldered. They break real easy. Will see if i can get it this time. Laters
quick update, ended up getting more lights with a smaller resister. i was pinching wires and stuff. Gonna try this again. Will let you know when.
Success!!! Locomotive is together and headlights are both working!! Job done!
Ok, is there any place that sales parts like handrails horns and such. I want to dress up the engines. I have the decals for them but would like to make them look ..better
I finally got some time to paint the yard engines. All thats left is cleanup handrails and numbers.

I was hoping i could get larger numbers than what came with the decal sheets. Went back and bought more that look bigger than what i may need. Hope they will work. Can't get a good shot that close. Sorry

Been so sick it has taken a few more days to get anything done. Engines # 5 and 7 are done and ready to take there place on the layout. The fuel station is pretty much done. Some minor paint touch ups and it can go to its own place on the layout. shots below.

Looking good!
Well, I might be stopped for a bit. The fuel station is almost to big for the place i had for it. I thought of turning the station around but it misses detail so where to put it?? I showed two shots of where i wanted it and another of the yard trackIf i moved the Hotel , Where to?? That would give me the room i need. I could move the red light house more forward and put the fuel station where it is right now. I can move the turnout and spur for the station. Any other ideas?

This shot is where i wanted to have that fuel station, but cars can't get around the station. I think i am going to have to move the hotel to the house side of the layout. Move the red light house forward to where the hotel was and then install the fuel station to where the other house was. Gotta figure it out.

What if you place it where the tall green structure is?
That was one idea. If i move the Hotel and the green house forward say 2 1/2 inches it might fit however the spur siding is no longer needed. So, I got to think this one out. A couple of more shots to show the line up.

If you don't need the spur, I would remove that, then there would be plenty of room for the fuel tank, and maybe another small storage bldg.
I did find i had more room than i thought in that lineup and after moving everything up,( hotel, green house). I like it and will leave the stub siding there so i can park stuff that isn't in use, like the russell snow plow. shot below

I saw my doctor again today. We have had so many range fires around here that the sky isn't blue but a light tanish color at times. Thats what is tearing my sinus apart. This is the worst year ever. I did get the buildings moved and glued down and started scenery. I like this way better than where i was going to put it. Shots below
