Her escort and daddy's foreman, Jason McNeil, wonders, like everyone else, if he has a chance.

Bert Jackson's business did not go as well as he hoped and can't wait to get back to Train City.
While his daughter Jessica is afraid and a little excited that there's a real live wild Indian in Rock Ridge.

Today is Saturday, a good day for tourists. The Overland from Chicago,
when it's on schedule, comes through on Saturday.

Jake O'Brien heard there was a job in Train city, but can't find Billy Simpson to buy a ticket.

Chip, you have done a lot of painstaking and expressive work there. Nice colours, too. You have a flare for the dramatic, dontcha? I think inside that rough skin is a director wanting to get out...:D

I have not yet learned to tell a story on my layout, but you are way ahead in that respect.

Keep 'em coming.

Jos, in English we use the informal expression "Aw Shucks" when we're shy or maybe a little embarrassed, especially by praise from someone. It's more of a casual "slang" expression, not formal English.

If you tell a girl that her dress is pretty, she might blink her eyelashes and say, "Aw Shucks." :)
