Does anyone know of a manufacturer of operational ground throws and high level switch stands. I've seen rix ground throws in the Walthers Catalogs, but unfortunatly they show a prototype photos so I have no visual ref. to them. I like caboose industrieas high level stands but feel they are a bit ovwer sized. Any help would be appreciated.

Seth,

The Caboose Industries switchstand appears to be a copy of a design the Milwaukee Road used. The good news is that it has been redesigned and that awfull 'lever' sitcking out is now much smaller. As far as 'scale', it is quite close to the prototype it is modeled after.
Other 'working' switchstands are available from NJ Internatinal.
